We have various birthday options available and you may select the option that you most suitable to you.

Option 1 – Mum caters for children Entrance per child R10.00 This Includes – • Designated party area with table, table cloths and chairs under a thatched boma or on the deck. • Use of jungle gym, swings and slides. • A packet of animal food per child. • One pony or tractor ride for each child ( Extra pony ride or tractor ride is R3.00 per child )

Option 2 – Tea garden caters for children Entrance per child R25.00 This Includes • Designated party area. • Use of jungle gym, swings and slides. • Packet of animal food for each child. • An assortment of party treats. - muffin - Ice-cream - Chocolate type sweet - Fizzes or chewy sweets - Cold drinks - Chips and or popcorn

ADULTS

Option 1 – Entrance only R10.00 per adult. You cater for adults.

Option 2 – Entrance plus tea or coffee and strawberry and cream scone or cheese scone or half half R20.00

Option 3 – Entrance of R10.00 per adult plus your own choice of platter at various prices for platters. Tea or coffee at R3.50 per cup.
Platters

R35.00 – Sandwich platter – cheese & tomato, ham & mustard, chicken mayo, tuna mayo and egg.
R35.00 – Scone strawberry jam and platter. Includes ten half scones. Can top some with cheese.
R140.00 – Hot snack tray – Includes cocktail samoosas, cocktail meatballs, chicken drummets, cocktail sausages, sausage rolls. Serves 8 to 10 people.
R35.00 - Lemon Merengue Pie.
R35.00 Quiche.

ANIMAL FARM YARD FOR YEAR END FUNCTIONS

The year enters its final few months and it is time to start looking at options for that end of year Christmas/business functions.

The Animal Farm Yard situated on the 1000 hills route provides the perfect setting and offers an incomparable country atmosphere.

The Christmas party/ function area is set on the top level with a wooden deck overlooking the Assagay Valley and boasts two thatched boma style function rooms suitable for small, medium and large groups.

The farm offers a selection of menus for example, breakfasts, hot and cold snack platters, picnic hampers, buffet, lamb on the spit etc or you can arrange your own catering.

Children and adults may stroll through the farmyard to see, feed and pet the farm animal and milking the cow. Pony rides and tractor rides are also available and youngsters can play on the jungle gym, swings and slides. If required let Father Christmas arrive on the tractor bearing gifts.

Priced from as little as R10.00 per person for use of the farm and function room we can assure you it will be enjoyable and memorable experience. Catering and other services priced according to ones needs. Ample secure parking available.

SCHOOL OUTING

Dear Teachers,
We would like to offer you our CHILDREN’S ANIMAL TOUCH FARM as an excursion option perhaps to tie in with a theme or as a treat for your class. We took over the farm in October 2003 and have been upgrading so we can offer the children an enjoyable and informative outing. A worksheet is available if required and we are open to requests for the needs of your group.
Our selection of animals is as follows :
Various chicken and ducks, geese, turkeys, rabbits, tortoise, guinea fowl, donkey, pony, miniature horse, horse, sheep, pigs, goats, jerseycows, nguni and afrikander cattle etc.
Our fee is R10.00 per child which includes :
- Tour of the animal and watch the cow being milked.
- A packet of animal feed so they may feed and touch the animals.
- Pony or tractor ride.
- Picnic area + Playground with jungle gym, swings and slides. There is a tuck shop if required for ice- creams, cool drinks, chips and sweets. Cooked food eg. Hotdogs, hamburgers or own requests must be ordered in advance.

There is no charge for teachers and treat is free tea or coffee with a muffin or scone. Entrance for parents is R7.50. Additional rides are R2.00 as required. School group times between 9.00am and 1pm.
